AESTHETIC SURGERY

Nonsurgical Anti-Wrinkle Treatment

The key advantage of nonsurgical anti-wrinkle treatment is that it carries none of the risks associated with surgical treatment. The disadvantage is that the effects are only temporary because the substances used eventually lose their potency or are resorbed into the body.

Botox Treatment

What kind of wrinkles can be treated with Botox?

This substance is most effective on horizontal lines on the forehead and glabellar wrinkles at the bridge of the nose.

Botox

How does Botox work?

There are various preparations containing Botox as an active ingredient, and they all work by temporarily relaxing muscular activity, thus smoothing out the wrinkles. The effects last about 3 to 6 months.

How is the treatment carried out?

After disinfection of the skin, the substance is administered by one or more nearly painless injections with an extremely thin needle

Could there be any complications?

As with any injection, there is a very low risk of infection. Overdose could result in temporary paralysis of neighboring muscle groups (e.g. the eyelid muscles), although this can be avoided.

„Filler“ Treatment
All “filler” treatments work by providing additional volume underneath the skin to eliminate wrinkles and hollows. The disadvantage of resorbable material (e.g. Zyderm II or Restylane) is that it is gradually resorbed into the body and, after about 3 to 6 months, the face returns to its original condition.
Non-resorbable “fillers” guarantee long-lasting effects, but if the result is not perfect, it is difficult to correct. Many different materials are available for this type of treatment. A trained professional can help you decide what is right for you..
